Job Description:
Fluke Engineering is looking for a Software Engineer to join our SaaS development team. In this role, you will collaborate with the scrum team and product owner to scope, plan and build features that drive our application forward. Your ability to build beautiful, maintainable, high-quality and high-performing web applications is essential for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand the business requirement, design, develop, implement and maintain the code
• Write self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Develop code using industry best practices for maintenance of the web applications
• Build automated unit and integration tests
• Maintain strong coding, compliance, & security standards
• Test web applications in multi-platform, cross-browser development.
• Ability to communicate better and work collaboratively with the team
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 0-2 years of professional experience in full stack web application development
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Good knowledge on coding, troubleshooting and problem solving
• Knowledge on browser environments and cross-browser compatibility nuance
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Motivated, organized and committed to continuous improvement and learning new tech stack
• Knowledge on agile development practices • Knowledge on using Git for code management • Good interaction/communication skills
